Thanks to the generous gifts from Saint John’s congregation and member’s friends and families, we were able to provide 71 gifts to homeless children in the McKinney program at Laurel School and from Catholic Charities Northern. What a wonderful way to brighten up the holidays for these children living in unfortunate circumstances!

Thanks to past donations from the congregation, the Human Needs Board was able to prepare twelve Thanksgiving baskets for families with children at Laurel School. Saint John’s has the privilege of supporting this special group of students with backpacks and school supplies in the Fall and holiday baskets during the school year. The Thanksgiving Baskets were filled with turkey and all the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal.
